Our system provides you with an integrated capability around the collection of data for improving teacher performance. Backed by a centralized database, the system offers administrators an effective and efficient way to conduct observations and summative evaluations. The teacher receives timely and transparent feedback from the administrator. The teacher can document their self-assessment and professional development plans. They can even record their professional development activities.
The system collects all this data and can generate reports on individual teachers or across the district.

Staff members can create their annual Professional Development Plan based on the SMART goal setting and planning approach. The PD Plan guides you through the definition of your goal, specifying which Domain and Component your goal will address, and then documenting resources, activities and timing of your plan to achieve each goal. The system also provides you the ability to document the evidence of your activities to achieve your goals and reflections.
We support three types of Formative Observations:
The Formal Observation process includes Pre-Observation Planning Form and supports the uploading of Lesson Plan artifacts. Formal Observations also includes Post Observation Reflection Form that is customizable by customer. The observer can take notes by individual components.
Classroom Walk-Throughs are quick notes by administrators to document the activities in a classroom. These observations would primarily deal with components from Domains 2 and 3.
General Observations provides administrators an approach to document quick observation notes of a staff member outside the classroom, e.g. committee participation, parents night, etc.
You can create as many or as few observations for any staff member. The system will support your policies and procedures.
We support two types of Evaluations: * Formative * Summative
You can use Formative Evaluation for the mid-year reviews with the staff members. You can then create a Summative Evaluation for the year-end review of the staff members. Our system allows you to select Level of Performance by component for each domain. The system will automatically insert the level of performance text from the Rubric into your document. The text will be converted to use the proper pronouns based on the gender of the staff member. This feature makes the creation of evaluations really easy. Additionally, our system automatically displays any observation text associated with the component inline with the component, so you can easily recall the observation notes without having to refer to paper notes.
Staff members can conduct self-assessment using the same set of rubrics as the evaluations feature above. The self-assessment will automatically convert the level of performance rubric text into first person pronouns.
Observations
The administrator can send either the entire observation or just a notice to the teacher in emails. The system will automatically notify the teacher of the pre-observation conference meeting and the post-observation reflection meeting.
Evaluations
The administrator can notify the teacher the completion of the evaluation and the system will automatically notify the administrator when the teacher had digitally signed the document.
PD Plans and Self Assessments
The system will automatically notify the administrator when the teacher has submitted their self-assessment or professional development plan. The system will notify the teacher that the administrator has accepted the self-assessment or PD Plan.
